New scienceI get traffic to this site regularly from people looking up information on brain haemorrhages and strokes, hence the creation of a separate page here.

In April of 2003 I had a brain haemorrhage (in my case specifically, a subarachnoid haemorrhage), also known generally as a haemorrhagic stroke, and so as I write this I’m into my sixth year of recovery.  It has left me with some disabilities, some of the frustrations of which may be referred to from time to time in this blog.  It doesn’t define me however, so most of the time I don’t dwell on it here at all.  I wasn’t going to bother putting up any kind of separate index for this subject, but given the site traffic that I just mentioned I realise now that this probably makes some sense.
