Cleaning order & the age old question

It makes logical sense to clean your house in a certain order, i.e. starting at the top and working your way down.  Begin upstairs, cleaning high surfaces first – ceiling fans, cupboard tops, high shelves etc. letting the dust fall beneath you.  Work your way downwards then finish by vacuuming the floors.
Go downstairs and repeat the process.
